Around major news, leverage tightens for a short window. It caps at 1:500 from 15 minutes before the news release, then 1:200 five minutes before the news release. Five minutes after the announcement, it’s back to your default.
Around the daily rollover, leverage tightens for a short window. It caps at 1:500 45 minutes before, then 1:200 15 minutes before. One minute before rollover, it’s back to your default.
Around the Friday close, leverage tightens for a short window. It caps at 1:500, 1 hour before, then 1:200, 30 minutes before. One minute before close, it’s back to your default.

Under normal trading conditions, Monaxa offers leverage up to 1:2000, subject to the Client’s account leverage setting (“Default Leverage”).
