Is there a minimum requirement to stay active as an IB?

Yes. To qualify for fee payments you must introduce 5 unique clients who complete a deposit, then at least 3 new depositing clients each following month, with your clients trading a combined 20 standard lots per month. Refer fewer than 3 clients or under 30 lots in any 6 months and the account is treated as inactive.

You earn under the Fees Plan you agree with Monaxa when you apply. Rates are set per instrument group and per account type, and are confirmed in writing within 7 business days of your application.

How are commissions calculated?

Fees are calculated on closed positions executed under normal market conditions that leave the account at a positive or neutral balance, tracked against your IB ID and credited to your IB Wallet.

What are rebate ranges for different instruments?

Published maximums: Metals up to $17/lot, Forex up to $12/lot, Crypto up to $12/lot, Indices up to $10/lot, Energies up to $3/lot. Your own rate is set in your Fees Plan and agreed with your business developer.

Are rebates fixed or tiered?

Your rate is fixed by the Fees Plan you choose when you apply. It cannot be changed during your membership unless Monaxa approves the change in writing.

How often are rebates paid out?

Fees accrue daily and are credited either in real time after each completed client trade or daily at settlement, depending on your plan, then paid into your IB Wallet.

Is there a minimum payout threshold?

The agreement sets no fixed payout threshold. Fees are credited to your IB Wallet and you withdraw using the methods in the Monaxa Portal; wire and payment charges are deducted from the withdrawal.

In what currency are rebates paid?

All fees and payments are made in US Dollars. If you transfer from your IB Wallet to a trading account in another base currency, it converts at the current market rate.

Are rebates paid on bonus or credit funds?

Only on the client’s own funds. Where a bonus supports part of the required margin, the fee is paid in proportion to the client money used, and no fee is paid on accounts funded solely with credit bonus.

Can rebates be adjusted retroactively?

Yes, though it is rare — typically a technical error, delayed liquidity-provider data, or duplicate reporting. Monaxa may also delay, recalculate or withhold fees where client activity looks suspicious. If you disagree with a payment, raise it in writing within 7 days of it reaching your IB Wallet.

Are any instruments excluded from rebates?

All major instrument groups are eligible, but some trades are not: positions open three minutes or less, stop-outs, trades closing at a negative balance, churning, and any account subject to chargebacks or refunds.

No. Immediate family and related parties are not eligible, and neither is anyone who has held a Monaxa account in the previous 12 months or whose details a third party already submitted.

No. The mark-up is the incentive. If your group runs on a mark-up, only the standard spread applies and you earn from the mark-up alone.

Can my clients get a bonus and a mark-up together?

No. Each group setting carries one or the other. Either a bonus or a mark-up, never both.

Which products and platforms support mark-ups?

Accepted Answer

Mark-ups work across all products and account types except PAMM. Copy trading is supported subject to Platform choice. MT4 has strict server limits. MT5 is usually the smoother option.

Why are mark-ups discouraged on PAMM structures?

They are technically possible, but we rarely ever do them as the commission structures get overly complex and tend to break the commission engine. Especially is there are more than one Masters participating.

How long does a mark-up agreement last?

Every mark-up agreement carries performance targets and runs for three months. Renewal follows a performance review with your Business Developer and Regional Manager.

What happens if my group goes quiet?

Underperforming or inactive groups are discontinued at review. Keep the book active and the agreement renews.

Are incentives paid in full regardless of performance?

No. Incentives are tied to targets and paid in proportion to what you achieve. If the net deposit target is $100K for a $100 incentive and you bring $50K, the payout is $50.

When does the partner agreement start and how long does it run?

It comes into force the moment you accept the terms as part of your IB application, and it continues until either side terminates it.

Can Monaxa change my Fees Plan?

Yes, but not silently. Monaxa gives at least 7 business days’ written notice with the updated plan. If you do not accept it, tell them in writing within 3 days and the agreement ends immediately — you still receive fees accrued up to the date of the change.

How do I leave the program?

Give 30 days’ written notice at any time. You can leave immediately if Monaxa changes the terms or Fees Plan, breaches the agreement in a way that cannot be fixed, or ceases trading.

When can Monaxa terminate my agreement?

Accepted Answer

Immediately for a breach that cannot be remedied, or one you do not fix within 7 days of notice; insolvency; conduct that damages Monaxa’s reputation; a regulator investigation; or an unapproved assignment. Otherwise, with 30 days’ written notice.

What happens to my unpaid rebates if the agreement ends?

You are paid everything accrued up to the termination date, and nothing for clients referred after it. Fees may be held for 30 days if there is an open dispute. If Monaxa terminates you for cause, accrued but unpaid fees are forfeited.

What must I stop doing after termination?

Accepted Answer

Stop promoting Monaxa immediately, withdraw and delete every banner, text link and promotional material, and do not approach clients to move them elsewhere or say anything that damages the brand.
